Hello everyone!

Here's a little break down to get to know me:

Name's Gage, and I'm from the United States. I bounce from one corner to the other typically between Florida and Washington; the latter of which is where I'm at currently. I'm hoping that momentum will soon be able to get me across the Pacific to Australia, a place I've had my heart set on for a number of years.

I'm an amateur in the field of photography, though that vein of media is something I was surrounded by when I was growing up, although at the time that was still with film. After discovering I had neither the money nor the place for tons of film (what with all the relocation) I've gone the way of the digital with a Canon EOS Rebel XSi DSLR and an Olympus Stylus 780 as a secondary.

I still have a great deal to learn and memorise with my primary and tend to not get out with it as much as I'd like due to the typical Pacific Northwest weather and my being overprotective of the Canon. As I get more comfortable and familiar with it I'd like to pursue professional photography, although I've honestly little idea on what the best direction is to approach that from.

Although far from anything close to stability, having lived a life in constant upheaval so far has produced all sorts of strange experiences such as fire dancing, apprenticing in falconry, forming an interrelated business and performance troupe, and being drafted to TA in Linguistic Anthropology and Archaeoastronomy classes without any relevant experience or even much forewarning.

So there's that!

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

Thank ya kindly.

I'll also add that when it comes to feedback and critique, brutality is preferred. Be as honest and straight forward as ya'll like in what could use improvement, what doesn't vibe with you, and so on!
