Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

To Tommy,
I created a duplicate layer in Photoshop and applied a 25 pixel Gaussian blur, then reduced the opacity to about 30%.
It works best id you erase just around the key focus points that the viewer references, such as eyes, nostrils, lips, fingers etc.

it is a common technique for portraits, and gives it that look.

To the big fella (Bob), We travel to Queensland a few times each year, where my wifes family live and often stop a night or two in Coffs Harbour, a coastal town almost exactly half way, to break the journey. There is a nice little beach front hotel called Anuuka that we have stayed at a few times and one of the pools has a wading area with small fountain. We were sitting nearby when Emma was mucking around, so just left her to her own devices and took a few shots.

That's a cool shot.  When it warms up here, I'll have to remember that technique.
