Perhaps for future judging we need to set up a poll and everyone can nominate their favourite (and no voting for your own!).

Some suggested topics (please feel free to add to my humble suggestions, folks):
macro
after dark
long exposures
landscape
seascape
creative (post production wise)
black & white
portrait
pet portrait
self portrait
circular (the subject)
3 (or any ohter number - subjectto be 3 of asomething, buildings, pipes, people etc)

Now time for some from other folk

Hi Odille,

Good Idea, How about you pick a June theme from your list. There are some good suggestions there.
Also Ross and Cher are suggesting comments be removed from the gallery and left to the board, do you agree?
This would prevent comments going into both spots.

Yes, I love the comments thread being created at the same time as the pic is posted int he gallery.  Can it be linked so a gallery browser can go to the thread relatd to that image?

How about seascape (include lake & river scenes for inland dwellers), haven't seen it anywhere else for quite a while?

Stop giving me things to do that are beyond my meagre capabities  Roll Eyes I'm not sure. I can create the post, not sure about the link. I think that it is too sensible to be the way it is done. Despite the lack of EXIF, the creating of a post is a good feature. I can suggest both to the developer tho'

....and 2nd: Seascape or river/lake scape: How about 'Seascapes, rivers and lakes' ? either way a good topic.
I was also thinking the first "day in the life of" say the 15th being the middle of the month. Everyone takes a shot or series of anything sometime on the 15th (their own time zone of course
