Okay, I tried several times without luck. I want to place an image and when someone clicks on the image it will take them to the exif page.

So is the link meant to take you to the smugmug page or to a LAF exif page.

I would like it to take anyone to the smugmug exif page. That way no matter where I put the image everyone can access the exif info.

If there is EXIF data, it is included with the image right here.
Here is a gallery shot from Ozzi. You will see the EXIF below the image.
http://www.lightartforum.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=1287

So if you use the gallery link in your post you will both get the automatic post creation and a simple link to your EXIF data. Just like you want

If images are not put on a background to add a frame the exif data will be included.
I was putting some black borders around mine a while ago by dragging the image onto a new black
page and reducing the image scale size, I worked out that this is what caused the exif to be lost.
It wouldn't come up on flickr either so I stopped doing it. The exif will still be included if the image
is cropped, it did with my Gang Gang Cockatoo image anyway. I normally re-sample my images to a
size of 800px on the long side at 200ppi and the data stays.
I will have to check out the difference in Adobe 98 and sRGB, I always shoot in Adobe 98 colour on
my Pentax K20D for printing and don't bother about converting to sRGB for the web but I may have to
start doing it. You can really see a difference in the images on the link.
