I had 7 images printed in the local paper today, including 1 on the front page that
was printed in colour at a size of 7x8 inches. 5 of the shots were from the
Australia Day Breakfast and awards ceromony and 2 were of the storm damage
from the weekend weather. I don't get paid for it but its good for publicity.

Well done.  Can you get a paper and make an image of the front page for us to see.  And which paper was it?

The paper is the Corryong Courier. I will take a shot and post it.
Its only a small paper but it gets distributed over a fair area, Gotta start somewhere.

Today I had printed and sold 2 of the image that was on the front page. The image
was of a person holding his young citizen of the year certificate. His mother wanted
a large print, 12x18 in, and his grandmother wanted a smaller print, cropped to 11x14in.
Apart from an image of the same fella doing a FMX trick that was sold on Redbubble
this is my first personal sale. I feel gooooood.

I should think you would.  Great work.  Can you afford a small ad in the paper citing your front page pics (as seen on p1 of the Corryong Courier on date)?  Striking while the iron is hot etc.

Front page of the local paper with my image.

The shot of the paper itself is not that good but the image that was printed on the front page was better.

Excellent work Paul,
Oh what a feeling! I bet you are proud, and rightly so.
