A little bit too high key for me ... I like the other one better !

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

Yeah I was trying out different styles and just thought I'd blow this one out to see how it looked.
When I compared it to the normal version, I thought it made more of an impact.

I hate to admit this but this shot would look good if cropped just below the chin and missing the tattoo, yes i know it would be horizontal but hay i think it would work.i have to ask have you been looking at David Bailey's work from the 60's because this is very much Baily of that era.

Its not a bad concept but I agree with Tim to, maybe a bit to high key for me. Leave the tat, make it bigger, and make it the main focal point, I love tattoos but haven't got none myself. (yet)

Hi Tommy, It is so far to the right of the "high key" scale, that posterizing it might work too. Or a bit more contrast.
You know what tho'. The main thing here is you are thinking outside the square and pushing the edges out a bit. That in itself is an excellent step forward on the road to creativity, and you do keep having a go at different styles, angle angles and effects. Secondly, you have been willing to share the image and invite critique and that is what we are all about, so from my point you get a 9/10.
Just putting up a different style invites others to experiment beyond pushing the button and that is a very good thing for all of us. The critique part is a sounding board, as while small, we have diversity of opinion and that is good too.
