OK, I have noticed the problem with a few of these shots.
What is happening, is that the Thumbnail image is being expanded to fill the size of the main image.
I have just made a change to the settings and I'll post a couple of  test images and get back.
Sorry folks. This doesn't fix it retrospectivley.
When I switched on the "make posts from new gallery items" I think I screwed this up a bit.
The work around is to go to the gallery, copy the BBC link, edit the post and paste in the link.
When I have tried a couple of test images, I will go in and update your image links later tonight.

Now that we can see it without megapixelation...a good shot. See my comments on the colour version.
A tiny bit of 'dodging and burning' will lift this shot to the next level.
You can create just a little more discrepancy between the the highlight and shadow areas

I love the eerie feel to this b&w---is it supposed to be calm and pastoral, or a little uneasy? All the different levels play with the eye very well.
