Horizontal portrait sample

http://www.lightartforum.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=1152

I have posted this in relation to Tommy Kelso's horizontal portait.
I believe that horizontal portaits can work and are valid.
In this sample I placed the model in front of - but well away from this ocean pool wall. I felt that the greens and blues pick up the model's eye colour, Shot wide open, the background shows as a pleasing blur of colours that do not distract from the subject.

Your right, theres nothing wrong with horizontal portraits, most of the time there all vertical so
its good to see something different instead of the same thing all the time.
This is a nice example that works well, I nice model always helps to.
