Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

great shot, the two faces are lit just enough to see and draw the eye to them both. if you lit it deliberately like that then you deserve to win.

Thanks Bob, It was deliberate how I shot this one. I dont think the Exif is working with this so ... 1/100th f4.5 ISO 800 60mm The shot was in the hospital and I was just using the light coming in from the window, no flash was used in making this picture, no babies or great grandmothers were hurt during production.

This is excellent Tim - also very subtle use of good old fashioned human emotion - even the hardest heart loves babies and gran!!

This one is an excellent shot Tim, great lighting and the way that great grandmother is holding and looking directly at the baby instead of the camera adds a great deal of love and warmth to the image. The dark background is spot on and helps to make the image. Great work.

http://www.fairfaxband.org/sounds/fxmarch.wavWell Done Mr Tim! You have a well deserved win with this shot! A 20" x 16" (due to full frame format) is coming your way. Please email the original file to me.. admin@ . Please also include your delivery address. You can choose another, but I suspect you will want his one. I will delete the file when done.

Netx up for February is 'Street photography'. That does not mean images of tar and curbs and gutters (but it can if you want). It is about life, people and interaction on the street.
Once a again the winner as selected by our members will recieve a nice enlargement for your wall. 20" x 16" for full frame sensors, 24" x 16" for DX. A new Theme gallery awaits you.
