Right, here goes, my first entry to the monthly competition - indeed my first post on here with a photo.
When I saw the title of this month, I knew the photo I'd want to enter. I've sorted out my photo collection, got a larger hard disk and found the photo.

I remember this day well - July 2006 - we took the dogs to Tollymore Forest Park near Newcastle in Northern Ireland. We went off the path to take a short cut back to the car, and came into a small clearing.
I took this photo with my Nikon D50 in aperture priority at f2.8 @ 28mm. Wish I'd taken the kit lens with me to get the whole tree into view, but I've still got the image in my memory so I guess that's the main thing :-)
And later that evening I caught my first Iridium Flare, so it really was a great day!

Hmmm, I'm getting the error when I try to attach the photo:
The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator.
Why? Its only 180kb.

Not again. I thought we got past that problem.
I'll take a look. Sorry about that.
