Hello to all Light Artists and visitors,

Over the last couple of days we seem to have attracted the attention of those feeble minded, but bothersome spam bots.
Thanks to the vigilance of our members, these have generally been spotted and removed quickly.
We have also taken the following steps to make it a little harder, though obviously not impossible for this stuff to get through.
1. Updated to the newest release of the forum software which increases overall security.
2. Introduced the requirement for an email validation to make a registration live
3. Increased the complexity requiremens for passwords
4. Increased the complexity of the visual  registration confirmation code

I hope to avoid a requirement for manual approval of new accounts as this tends to disencourage new members.
I have set some of senior members to act as 'Global Moderators', so we can jump on these things quickly if they get through.
If you do see any inappropriate material, please click on the "report IP" link at the bottom right of each post.
As a final note, thank you to all members and visitors for the ongoing support of our little community.
If you visit, but have not joined yet, please do so. We welcome all new members - there is no fee to join. You will find everyone here to be friendly, helpful and supportive. If you visit a few times, you will come to know our members and perhaps even make a new friend or two.
