Hi there,

This is a fun place to share, discuss, and compete with our photos.  A nice small and growing group that enjoys all the aspects of photography.

Welcome. Have a look around.  we have a monthly challenge and there are many areas to post photos and get other peoples' views on them.  Some will like them, some may not, but you can learn from all criticism.

There are areas to post tutorials you find interesting, to talk abnout equipment you might be interested in or having problems with etc.  It is forum for information and discussion, and it is what we the members make it.

Enjoy!!

Welcome to the forum Charlie, Hope you like it. Theres people from around the world that are members,
so its a bit hard to all get together but there may be people around your area to.
Its a good little friendly forum with a wide range of people that have different ideas and techniques so
there is a bit we can learn here to.

Hi Charlie.
Glad to have you with us. The craic is pretty good here. You can subscribe to the site's RSS feed to see who's talking.
I think the nearest member to you would be Annash in Co Carlow. I am in Lisburn, and there's a few folk in the UK. I think the rest are OZ and USA. A global community indeed. You'll find the members are friendly and helpful.
I look forward to seeing your posts.
Best wishes.
John

Hi Charlie and welcome.

Other than a very poor sense of direction, you sound like you belong here!
Who knows we may all get together one of these days. I like the sound of an inaugural Light Art shoot out convention in some idyllic local.

You can and would be most welcome to start a local Light Art chapter in your area, and a free dedicated board and gallery to an member wanting to take me up on it.

Further, you have managed to get me up off my bottom, and do something about competition prizes. While not massive, it is still quite a rare and sought after item. I make mention of it in another of your posts. Something for the members to find!
Anyway, jump in, post some pics and enjoy!
