I took this 2 years or so ago on a visit to my native Wales.  It's done quite well in competitions too. Smiley

Very nice, and you've just given me an inspiration for a B&W comp on another board that ends Friday.  I have some railway tunnel shots so they'll be perfect.

Yes, I'll post back here too.

Love the detail in the brickwork! Lends itself well to B & W! Great shot! Smiley

Thanks. Smiley

I don't do much with B+W but it's something I'd like to work with a bit more. Smiley

Very good Dale,

It leads the eye through and makes me ask who and what they are keeping from going where with the rock blocking the entrance (or exit)?
I'd like to see just a little burning in of the detail on the outside, beyond the tunnel.

Thanks Mark.

The rocks were placed there to stop car thieves driving stolen cars in and setting them on fire.  Sad but true.

I'd agree about the burning, it's something that was also commented on in some of the comps this picture has been in.  It is a bit burned out which is a shame as the eye is led there.  I will have a play in photoshop and see what I can do.
