Well, it's different.  I personally find the flash reflection very distracting.  Nice cat though!

Hi Sammy,

What I like about some of your work, is that you do the unexpected - and that is a good thing.
Your cat could have easily been in the centre(er)...or you could have plonked it along one of the thirds.
I think that your conscious use of heavy top edge cropping and selective focus, does make you pause to ask, what is going on here? and look around the photo.
It is a bit like a frame from a movie, where you are expecting to pan around. Anyway, I like the fact that you are exploring the edges and not sticking to the "standard" format. This is important in working towards a style or feel that you believe defines your image making. Keep it up - there are no rules, go where your camera takes you.
